We all have pre menstrual symptoms unique to us.
There is no ‘perfect’ way to go through out monthly cycles. And it’s also not productive or healthy to assume that if we do ‘all the right things’ that somehow we will have a menstrual cycle without discomfort or challenges.
The practice exists in tuning into the process our bodies are going through and being it’s ally by responding as we can to needs that might need tending to. There is no wrong way or right way, there is only a dialogue that we can practice showing up fully for.
As such there is no guarantee that what you do will make things 100% better. It is simply a matter of paying attention and responding as you can accordingly. The benefits of this manifest in how we see ourselves, treat ourselves and grow compassion and care for ourselves. The benefit to this is that we begin to learn ourselves, intimately, in a manner that favorably enhances many other parts of our lives.
We place so much value on immediate eradication of that which might be painful or inconvenient to us and often immediate eradication isn’t possible. The journey of presence and investigation and tending is what gets us the rewards we were very likely not even considering.
Investigation Is The Name Of The Game
When we started to put things together for The Pampered Period Box, we were clear that a big reason for this box was to help women and those that still bleed but might not identify as women, was to provide a variety of high quality items each month that would facilitate an ongoing exploration of what works and might not work in the care of their menstrual health.
There are so many natural supplements out there to help achieve closer hormonal balance, replenish mineral depletion that occur from bleeding for a week, and adding to the over all health and well being of a person that it can be hard to make sense of it all, much less know what to buy.
Our job is to hunt out those amazing products and send them to you. Something different each month that will give you the opportunity to test out different things and see what might feel supportive and health promoting for you.
All of these items are over the counter and available for you to buy on your own should you choose to continue use after your initial month supply. But we do suggest that you consult your physician before taking anything, as these items each month are not meant to be prescriptive, but rather an option you might try.
