We get a few questions through email and our social media accounts. As time passes, we will add more Qs to this page as they come up so be sure to check back often as your questions arise.
Where do you ship to?
Currently, we only ship within the US, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We are hoping to expand that internationally by 2018, so please make sure to sign up for our newsletter. All announcements to changes in our service will be sent out there.
When will my box be shipped?
Boxes will be shipped on the 1st of each month. It should take about a week to get to you unless you are in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico and then it might take up to 2 weeks.
Can I get a refund?
We do not give refunds. Being that this is a subscription service, you have the ability to cancel your subscription at any time. Our system works such that once you pay for a month, you get that box. Cancellations made after the 15th of any given months means you’ll still get one more box sent to you on the 1st of the following month, but we will not bill you again.
What is in the box?
Each monthly box will be different. Part of the beauty of the Pampered Period Box is that we curate amazing products we have found for you. We’re committed to providing you with items that both help support your menstrual health as well as products that add to your daily self care and pampering regimen.
I don’t identify as a woman, but do have a menstrual cycle. Is The Pampered Period Box still useful for me?
Yes! Our self care and pampering products can be used by anyone. Each month we also include a variety of products, supplements and edibles that aim to support a healthier hormonal balance and alleviate uncomfortable symptoms associated with your monthly period. One of our goals in curating these monthly boxes is to give our customers a wide range of items to try to see which best suits their needs.
What if I don’t like something in the box?
As with anything, there is always the possibility of receiving an item that might not work for you. Part of the beauty of a subscription box is that you get several products to sample in order to give you a better working awareness of what works for you and what doesn’t. In the event that something doesn’t suit your needs or you simply don’t like it, please email us and let us know. This feedback will help us in future curations.
We also love the idea of some of our items being used as mini gifts to your friends. A bath bomb in a scent that you might not like is a glorious little treat for another sister that just needs a hot soothing bath to help relax her!
What if I get my box, but my period was last week?
Our vision for this box is that not only will we all learn to more tenderly and consciously care for ourselves while we are on our periods, but also that our ‘tool box’ for doing this gets filled each month.
So if you receive a box, but you just had your period you can do one of two things:
1. Save your goodies for your next period or
2. Use them when you get them, regardless of when your period is.
Most boxes will be a combination of items that are not period specific, such as bath bombs, soaps, candles, etc. Some of the items will definitely be specific to that time of the month, like PMS teas, tinctures, etc. You can play with this, but using those general items whenever you want, and saving the period specific items for when you start bleeding again.
Do you have boxes for younger women/girls?
Yes! In the sign up process for your subscription there is a section where you indicate if the subscription you are buying is for someone 18 years or younger. If you mark this yes, we tailor the box you receive to be age appropriate.
Do you have a box for us women in menopause?
Currently, we do not. However, we are definitely looking ahead to create a box for women in Menopause, Peri-menopause and Pregnant! Make sure to sign up for our newsletter updates, as this is where we will send out announcements of new additions to our product line.
Teas, Herbs, Tinctures and Natural Remedies
It’s important to note that neither Magdie nor Elena are medical practitioners. Herbal, oil, OTC remedies are chosen based on research and quality, but they are not meant to be prescriptive. Meaning that you will have to determine whether or not they are the best remedy or supportive supplement for you with the help of your health care practitioner.
